Dstny – Senior Operations Security Engineer

Join Dstny as a Senior Operations Security Engineer and play a key role in strengthening the security and resilience of our cloud platforms, infrastructure and customer-facing services.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Design, implement and continuously improve security controls across our cloud platforms, infrastructure and production services.
Strengthen security monitoring, detection, alerting and incident-response capabilities.
Lead technical investigations, root-cause analysis and remediation of security incidents.
Proactively perform threat hunting and improve detection coverage across the platform.
Manage vulnerability remediation and drive measurable reductions in operational security risk.
Automate security controls, processes, tooling integrations, dashboards and reporting.
Secure our customer-facing products: Dstny Voice, Dstny Digital Agents, Dstny Call2Teams and Dstny Intelligence.
Protect AI and digital-agent services, including data governance and the prevention of model or agent abuse.
Develop controls and monitoring for VoIP and real-time communications threats, including SIP and signalling abuse, telecom and toll fraud, and voice-service denial-of-service.
Secure Azure and/or AWS environments, Kubernetes platforms, containers, operating systems and cloud-native services.
Improve identity and access management, privileged access and authentication controls.
Support disaster recovery, backup validation and resilience testing.
Maintain tenant isolation and service-provider channel security across our shared, multi-tenant platform.
Work closely with Operations, Platform Engineering, Development and Architecture teams to integrate security into daily operations and future platform designs.
Partner with our Data Protection and Compliance teams on ISO 27001, NIS2, GDPR and customer-security requirements.
Provide practical security guidance and help establish secure, scalable and maintainable operational standards.
What We’re Looking For:
At least 5 years of relevant experience in security engineering, security operations, platform security or a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience in incident response, vulnerability management, threat detection and threat hunting.
Experience with VoIP and real-time communications security, including SIP, signalling, telecom fraud and toll fraud.
Experience securing AI, LLM-based or digital-agent services is highly desirable.
Practical experience with Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes and container technologies.
Strong Linux-administration and networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS and HTTP/S.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash or Go.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, APIs, SIEM and observability platforms.
Knowledge of identity and access management, privileged access and platform hardening.
Experience with security automation and SOAR platforms is an advantage.
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, Wiz, Prisma Cloud or similar tools is desirable.
Experience in SaaS, UCaaS, telecommunications or other cloud-native environments would be valuable.
A hands-on, pragmatic mindset with the ability to balance immediate operational priorities with longer-term security improvements.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across Operations, Engineering, Architecture, Product, Compliance and Data Protection teams.
Relevant security certifications such as CKS, GCIH, GCIA, Azure Security Engineer or AWS Security Specialty are an advantage.
