Dstny – VP Product Management
The VP of Product Management leads Dstny's Product Management function across the full Group portfolio, translating market, customer and Service Provider insight into a coherent, commercially accountable product strategy. The role owns the Product Management organisation across Dstny's Three-Horizons operating model — Horizon 1: Dstny Voice, Horizon 2: Dstny Foundation VAS, and Horizon 3: Dstny Digital Agents — ensuring each Horizon runs at the cadence, governance and risk profile it needs while operating under one Product Management mandate.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Dstny Group product strategy end to end, from market and customer insight through to committed roadmap, ensuring the portfolio drives adoption, ARPU uplift, margin and retention.
Lead, hire and develop the Product Management organisation — Directors, Product Managers and Product Designers — across the Three-Horizons model, building career paths within Product Management.
Set and enforce the Product Management mandate: customer- and market-led, commercially accountable, delegating technical and design execution to Architecture, Engineering and UX.
Own portfolio discipline under the one-category, one-product, one-Product-Manager principle, preventing scope sprawl and duplicated investment across the Group and country organisations.
Establish a customer discovery and competitive-intelligence practice across the Product Management team, ensuring evidence-based decisions rather than opinion-led prioritisation.
Represent Product Management at Executive Team level, owning the product strategy narrative and its quarterly review cadence.
Partner with Product Marketing, Strategic Alliances, Engineering and Sales leadership to align roadmap, go-to-market and commercial models.
Own the Product Management KPI framework — adoption, ARPU, retention, time-to-value, margin and attach rate — as the basis for portfolio decisions.
Sponsor the Directors of Product Governance, Standard Services Catalogue and Strategic Product Alliances, ensuring the PM operating model scales without pulling Product Managers into administrative work.
What This Role Does Not Do
Does not own individual product roadmaps directly (delegated to Product Managers).
Does not own technical architecture or delivery execution.
Does not own product marketing or go-to-market messaging (partners with the VP of Product and Services Marketing).
